It’s amazing just how many toiletries we manage to amass these days – especially if we’re female! Then again, children often like a favourite toy (or five) in the bath with them. This, of course, poses the difficult question of where to store everything. The obvious answer is to put up bathroom shelves. But what type?
Glass bathroom shelving for a minimalist look
Here at Bathroom Supastore our range of smart toughened transparent glass shelving will go with most bathroom design themes – especially Spa-type and contemporary minimalist styles. Designed and manufactured by British company Croydex, the rust-free holders are styled from durable zinc alloys and finished in shiny chrome to give a clean, contemporary feel. They range in length from 595mm to 618mm.
Why choose bathroom shelves?
Wall-mounted bathroom shelving is a great space-saving device – certainly it frees up counter space and is essential if your bathroom just happens to be too small to house a vanity unit and if you don’t fancy the idea of a mirrored cupboard. Putting up shelving is also one of the best ways to prevent an en-suite or cloakroom facility from looking too cluttered at times.
Bathroom shelves can be used to store and display towels, toiletries, make-up, candles and plants etc. With single shelves, buy two or three and sit them vertically above one another or length-wise (even round a corner) for an interesting and unusual look.
How to attach bathroom shelves
Shelves can be put up easily by a keen DIY’er using either adhesive or screws (the latter involves drilling holes in the wall if there are no pre-existing ones). Our own range of glass shelving comes with specially-formulated Flexi-fix adhesive to allow the shelves to be put up immediately. However, they can also be screwed to the wall, if preferred.
