Bathroom panelling is a clever, quick and very effective way of changing the entire look of your bathroom. Available in a variety of colours, styles and textures, there should be something to suit most homeowners. Here at Bathroom Supastore we have panelling in Italian marble, PVC and waterproof MDF with a laminate front. Our biggest sellers are AquaPanel Laminate, but we also stock Gemini PVC, Libra PVC Megapanel and Sirius PVC.
Bathroom panelling is easy and inexpensive to fit
The beauty of bathroom panelling is that it isn’t just inexpensive to buy but also, provided you have the time and inclination, can be fitted DIY-style too. That’s because, unlike tiles, there’s no messy grouting involved. The panels are also large so a considerable area of wall can be fitted reasonably quickly.
Bathroom panelling disguises ill-shaped bumps or wall cracks
As well as adding glamour, bathroom panelling can also help disguise unsightly bumps on the wall, or patches that you would prefer weren’t visible for all visitors to your bathroom to see.
How to use bathroom panelling effectively
Use your bathroom panelling to ‘zone’ a shower area or to cover the wall above a bath, or use dramatically coloured panelling to create a feature wall just behind a white freestanding tub.
How to fit bathroom wall panelling
Bathroom panelling can actually be fitted in a number of ways. We advise using attaching them using glue and which is by far the most popular solution today. The glue should be applied in an S-shape from one end of the panel to the other, and the panel then held against the wall for a minute or so.
Another method of attaching bathroom panelling is, having slotted the panel neatly into place, to use a staple gun or screws along the top of the panel in order to secure it.
