When it comes down to it, it really is all the little extra thought-out details that will provide the impressive and smart finishing touch to your bathroom make-over. And for this very reason it is important to consider what type of wall trim you choose. As you can imagine wall trims come in a variety of sizes, styles, colours and textures – so do take time to consider what’s best for your individual bathroom’s look.
Wall trims in various sizes, colours and styles
Here at Bathroom Supastore we stock wall trims from impressive bathroom fitting and accessory brands such as AquaPanel, Gemini and Sirius. The wall trims come in both laminate (AquaPanel) and PVC versions (Gemini and Sirius). Length-wise they range from 2450mm all the way up to 3000mm and are available in a whole range of colours such as Bright Silver, Black Silk, Cream and Antique Gold.
How easy are wall trims to fit?
All trims have to be measured to length and then cut. Coving trim is placed between the wall and ceiling to create a smooth transition between the two. The smaller the ceiling height the thinner the coving and vice versa. The coving wall trim should be screwed in every 300mm or so.
Skirting Board trim provides a neat finish where wall panels meet the floor and are, on the whole, thinner than coving trim. Other wall trims can be fitted around windows and the door of your bathroom.
You’ll find that many makes of wall panel – particularly our AquaPanel range – have wall trims and fittings to match and which can be put together neatly and easily by a competent DIY’er. However, the team here at Bathroom Supastore are happy to provide any advice too both at the time of purchase and later when it comes to fitting the wall trims.
