Basin Mixer Taps

Basin Mixers

Basin mixers are a versatile style of tap for your bathroom sink where all the water – both hot and cold – comes out of the one tap. This makes it easier to both reach and maintain the temperature you like. Basin mixers are a type of tap which is seen more and more in new build and contemporary bathrooms where the one hole is replacing the traditional two tap hole sinks. And even within the single (or ‘mono’) tap there are trends, with waterfall taps for counter top basins and wall mounted basin mixers proving the height of bathroom fashion these days.

Choose your style and size of basin mixer tap

All of our basin mixers here at Bathroom Supastore are high quality and designed by leading bathroom brand names such as Hudson Reed and Tavistock. There are geometric, square and cylindrical versions, as well as taps which slant forward at a 45 degree angle and single or double lever taps (and in a choice of either wall mounted or basin models).

There are also double screw taps, which still deliver water through a single spout, but are the perfect tap accessory for more traditional bathrooms. Most of our basin mixers are in practical and attractive, easily-cleaned chrome but it’s possible to buy taps in other finishes too. All come with wastes attached, many of which are ‘click’ or ‘pop up’ models.

Regardless of whether your new taps are basin mixers or separate hot and cold taps, they’re bound to give your bathroom a boost. That’s because it’s the accessories which can really help upgrade a bathroom from ordinary to spectacular – especially if they co-ordinate with other bathroom fittings, such as the bath and shower taps. Before you invest in a new basin mixer it’s always a good idea to check your water pressure to ensure the flow suits your chosen style.
