Smart and stylish, kitchen taps these days have come a long way from a couple of crosshead taps on the side of the sink. Innovative new designs include a tap with a flexible neck which scoots jets of water, to single swivel spouts which can serve more than one bowl and twisted to the side when redundant. Here at Bathroom Supastore we offer a choice of single lever taps, pull out taps and monobloc taps. All come with guarantees on finish and materials.
- Single lever taps have the one spout and a lever with which to control the hot and cold functions. These contemporary and good-looking taps are excellent for areas where space is tight.
- Pull out taps are those with a flexible neck and water jet, allowing you to concentrate the water where it’s needed. These are often found in busy restaurant kitchens because the jets make it simple to dislodge food from plates.
- Monobloc taps involve a single spout with the water controlled by means of a hot and cold tap on either side. Both contemporary and traditional versions are available.
Different finishes of kitchen taps
The majority of our kitchen taps here at Bathroom Supastore are produced from solid brass and finished in hard-wearing, shiny chrome or brushed steel – both of which provide a contemporary appearance for your kitchen.
Different water pressure requirements
Your average kitchen tap will work in most areas of the UK however it’s always advisable to check beforehand if the water flow to your kitchen is strong enough as mixer taps require more pressure. Bungalows, where the water tank is low, may be better off with low pressure taps, for instance. With a mains system the local water supplier should be able to advise on the strength of your water pressure.
