Full Pedestal Basins
The most popular type of bathroom sink around, the full pedestal basin, comes in a huge variety of styles and sizes to suit just about every bathroom design style you can imagine. Whether your bathroom is styled traditional Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco or Country, you’ll find there is a full pedestal basin to match. Similarly, full pedestal basins are also available for contemporary bathroom designs, along with semi pedestal and wall hung versions.
Full pedestals hide unsightly pipe work
An elegant choice, full pedestal basins are floor mounted and perfect for concealing unsightly pipe work which would otherwise make the bathroom appear cluttered. In terms of shape you’ll find semi-circular, circular and square versions available.
Full pedestal basins more suited to larger bathrooms
Full pedestal basins tend to be more prevalent in larger bathrooms, due to the fact they take up more space (something that is severely lacking in a standard en-suite or cloakroom toilet). You’ll also find larger bathrooms in period properties and which, with their high ceilings, tend to suit Victorian, Edwardian or Art Deco styles which demand straight lines and geometric angles. In this type of bathroom suites the basin will often be manufactured from vitreous china.
Full pedestal bathroom sinks are available with either two holes for individual hot and cold taps, or a single drilled hole for a mixed tax. The latter is more common in contemporary design styles while the two separate taps are more suited to traditional bathroom designs.
The full pedestal basins we sell here at Bathroom Supastore come in a wide range of sizes from as little as 450mm for en-suites and cloakroom facilities, all the way up to 600mm for the larger bathroom. Corner pedestal basins are also available to allow you to maximise what little space that remains in cloakrooms and en-suite bathrooms.
