Hinged & Pivot Shower Doors

Hinged and pivot shower enclosure models are similar in that the door swings open. Where the difference lies is in the way they are attached to the shower door frame or side panel.

The Hinged shower, will be attached via hinges on the side of the glass door. The Pivot door on the other hand, will be attached from top to bottom of the door frame on the right or left far corner of the door, rather than centrally. All the weight of a pivot door is at the bottom of the door, which provides a sturdy yet easy flow action. Because the pivot hinges can’t be seen, the shower door has a frame less, uninterrupted look, making it the shower door of choice for contemporary minimalist bathrooms design.
